munching carrots helps me
I started to eat raw carrots on a daily basis. Its very healthy and it takes a while to chew raw carrots properly! And I found by the time I've peeled and eaten one large carrot I feel pretty satisfied and the munchies cravings are gone. It has really helped me with not eating at night too. I usually eat one around 6 before dinner is ready to eat. Usually around that time I am in the kitchen cooking, and end up eating crackers/cookies and other junk. So the switch to carrots has been very beneficial.
I have lost another pound...and feeling positive about reaching my goal. I also changed my exercise routine, so that two days a week I work out for an hour and a half, instead of my usual 50min. I think increasing the length of my workout is helping me to break through my plateau.

Dominique,
You arent imagining things when you say that eating carrots is helping you eat less at night. Did you know that carrots contain chromium which helps to stabilize blood sugar levels, so it is very useful for controlling diabetes and sugar cravings! Just a bit of science facts to back up what you found out from your own experimentation. Good luck with your weight loss!
