Being a new mom & breastfeeding

My little one is almost 8 weeks old. Time is flying by. This week I'm back to work on a reduced schedule which is great. I'm wondering about feeding and sleeping schedules - does anyone out there have a new baby and want to comment? I've read about 8-10 books on the subject and there seem to be some consistent themes. When my daughter was brand new we read and followed "The Happiest Baby on the Block" book - which I highly recommend. The other book I've found most valuable is "Healthy Sleep Habits, Happy Child" by Weisbluth. Other books that had some good ideas but seemed too extreme were the No-Cry Sleep Solution and On Becoming Baby Wise.

The main thing I'm wondering is whether other parents saw a definite pattern in naps by 10-12 weeks or if it took longer? My little one is sleeping well at night (6-7 hours consistently) and I don't want to mess that up. But the daytime is kind of up for grabs, still. Especially the evening.
