SI Joint And Strained Muscles

My second appointment with the chiropractor today... just a quick adjustment and it was a little uncomfortable at first but at least I can stand up straight again!

I looked up information on the SI joint (thanks, Wikipedia!) and it was bittersweetly amusing to find that I hadn't even been aware of something in my body that has such a tremendous job to do. I thought I understood just about everything going on in here but this is new! I'm glad my chiro knows how to fix it... I just hope I can make it between appointments without stubbornly pushing myself too hard and undoing all the work.

I can't hurt myself while napping, can I?

lol at one time I'd of said no unless you fall out of bed but after a few naps left me in pain I can't say that.  I woke up last week  and could barely climb out of bed.  I hadn't done anything physically stressful the day before so I was left wondering what the world I'd done in my sleep.  lol came to the conclusion I must of been fighting dragons in my dreams.  My mid back feels like its broke the muscles spasm every time I move.   More likely I guess that I need a new bed just wish good mattresses didn't cost so much!

Be aware that SI joints are more mobile when women have their periods.  Something hormonally makes the muscles relax and destabilize the joint.  So you're even more likely to have pain or trouble even when you haven't done anything injurious per se.
