Exhaustion

Ok so today really sucked.  I do not reccomend to anyone that they should go to a job after not sleeping for two days.  I have been having difficulty getting to sleep that  last few nights.  Some nights I can't stay asleep;  It seems that I wake up really hot and sweaty or I just toss and turn.  I don't know what to do.  HELP!

aah! I can imagine how terrible not being able to sleep must be.  Have you been able to connect it with anything you've been doing differently before you go to sleep? Any change in what you're eating for dinner or before bed? Make sure you're drinking enough water and aren't dehydrated either.  Or possibly stress or other external factors.  If you can't seem to connect this change in sleeping habits with anything, and if the problem persists much longer.. maybe you should consult your physician about possible remedies.  Good luck- I hope you get a good nights sleep soon !

bostonlotus - i'm not sure how old you are....but it sounds like it could be a premenopausal symptom as well.  I believe sleep disruption is an unfortunate common side effect during menopause/premenopause.  Waking up sweating, is a common sign.

All women have to go through this at one point or another - you are not alone :)
