As I am new at this blogging, I do hope for great news from others.

HazelEyes,

what are in search of?  do you want to discuss fibromyalgia and arthritus?  do you have direct experiences or are you researching for someone else?  have you (or the other person) had any success with treatments?  were the treatments based on western or eastern methods?

give us something to work with.

For several years I went to many different docotors because "I didn't feel good".  That was pretty much all I could tell them other than I was exhausted all the time.  They ran tests and told me to excersize more, there was nothing wrong with me.  Finally one day I went to a new doctor.  I told her that I felt like I would imagine someone with a terminal illness would feel, I felt that bad.  She looked at me and said "I wonder if you have Epstein Barr Virus".  That was the beginning of FINALLY being diagnosed with Fibromyalgia.  I was so relieved....I wasn't imagining this "sickness".  Although I have finally been diagnosed, there has been nothing that has helped me with the exhaustion, pain, headaches, brain fog, etc.....  I have tried pretty much everything there is out there at least once.  If I get myself into a stressful situation, I'm down for days.  Can't do anything other then barely get through the day at work and come home and sleep.  I have a hard time imagining that I have to spend the rest of my life feeling this bad.  I have always been full of energy almost to the point of being hyper.  If anyone has any ideas...please give them to me.

tho i had a prblem with lyrica, you should give it a try, i have had FMS most of my life . co-enzyme Q 100 mgs 3 x daily really helps my elnergy level. also be sure to have your anit phospholipid antibodies and your vitamin D and carnitine levels checked - they tend to be low in people with FMS. i find that when i walk, i feel better - if i am to tired to walk, i put on headphones and music and force the walk - i almost immediately feel better. try to go to sleep the same time every night and wake up the same time every day - a regular routine can help. hopefully knowing you arent alone will help - this illness is a nightmare...
