I just read this article that karpoor posted under a previous discussion, and felt it needed its own thread.

The exact harmful nature to children isnt known yet....but i found it very interesting that they found measurable amounts in their diapers.   the article ends with the recommendation to use these products sparingly.

I think that we can also find alternative products that are not packaged in plastics.  Like pure vegetable soap bars that can be used as a head to toe wash.  And olive oil found in glass bottles which can be used while massaging and moisturizing baby skin.

as we get older our bodies are probably better able to dilute the effect of the toxins.... i dont think i can give up my favorite lotions or shampoos...
