Post operative healing strategy

Hello,
I will be having ACL reconstruction surgery in a couple of weeks. I am looking for ways to improve and speed up my recovery after the surgery. I am interested in nutrition, supplements and alternative therapy. The main issues will be dealing with pain, swelling, and bone and soft tissue healing (they will be drilling holes in my tibia and femur). I have a pretty extensive plan but would love to hear some suggestion from others. I will post a complete plan later.

drink green smoothies everyday.
drink wheatgrass juice everyday.
get acupuncture for pain and healing energies.
think good thoughts, send your chi through that leg to promote healing actively and with intent.
rub arnica gel on the affected area / take arnica montana orally (especially immediately after surgery) will help reduce swelling.
don't climb any mountains till the leg has had enough time properly heal!
