can we better define 'balanced diet' b/c i am eating fewer carbs, more protien and lots of fresh fruit and veggies and also fewer bad fats....so i voted for high protein/low carb ... but i think my diet is really a well balanced diet, just different than it used to be...

some clarification would be great!

The way I read it... a balanced diet is what I would try to stick when all is well.. however when I am focussed on trying to knock off some pounds, I would go by what you voted... high protein/low carb...

Its a touch different. With everything else the same, its higher in protein and lower in carb.
